With the rapid progress of next-generation sequencing technologies GBS became available to researchers and breeders for a very attractive price. We do not leave you alone with complex data sets, but can assist you through bioinformatics support. Furthermore, we are happy to support you with setup of robust library preparation protocols and sequencing strategies for GBS.

In contrast to more traditional genotyping methods, SNP genotyping by next generation sequencing does not require previous marker development or sequence information, but allows direct SNP genotyping within any population of interest at the desired marker density.
